What is FTP Browser?
=====================================================================
FTP Browser is a feature rich TCP/IP FTP client for OS/2 Warp. It
is quick, compact and easy to use. It makes browsing directories
as fast as point and click, and transferring files as simple as drag
and drop.
Please, feel free to use this shareware version of FTP Browser to
evaluate its functionality as long as you agree to the legal
disclaimer. Should you continue to use this product beyond the
30-day trial period, please select "Registration information" from
the application's menu.

Changes for this release

- added the total transfer size to the transfer window.
- added an option to preserve original file dates for downloads.
- the last access date is now updated immediately after successfully
connecting to a site.
- saving a site from the FTP window now updates the site entry
immediately.
- added a default site properties menu option to the configuration
menu. All new sites will inherit these defaults.
- added several fields to the set default dialogue that display the
current defaults and the new defaults.
- added a minimize button to the transfer status window.
- double clicking a site folder will now start a connection to every
site within the folder.
- fixed a bug when a lost connection during transfers would cause
the file to remain open.
- fixed a bug that caused FTPBrowser to crash on Warp3 when dragging
objects to the FTP window.
- fixed a bug that prevented downloads with long file names to
FAT drives.
- fixed the properites notebook tab display that caused the firewall
tab to be hidden in Warp3.
- fixed a bug where the FTP window would steal the focus when
displaying the remote file list.
- fixed a bug which caused OS/2's system clock to minimize when
closing the FTP window.
- fixed the last access date display in the FTPBrowser window that
caused improper site sorting.

Installation
=====================================================================
To install FTP Browser:
1. Unzip the compressed file into a temporary directory.
2. Make this directory the current directory.
3. Run INSTALL.EXE to install the application.
